summer harvest

it’s been forever, but here’s the recap since February 16, 2011.

1. me: “i have free passes to the MFA”
adam: “oh, we should go”

2. i went on a cruise. It was faboosh.

3. on said cruise, i read Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver. it was great and made me  want to kill my own thanksgiving turkey. it also made me excited for...
4. my farm share from Parker Farms

i’ve been eating beets like it’s my job (i wish).

this last week was drunken beets and a summer cuke salad (kinda weird)

today I’m picking up:
celery
basil
peppers
cousa squash
cukes
long italian eggplant
purple potatoes
red spring onions

backpacker’s pasta, anyone?
